Black
Represents sophistication, elegance, beauty, efficiency and formality. The negative of black can elicit death and menacing.
Black is all wavelength absorbed, therefore, no wavelengths are reflected outward. Black is the absence of light. Additionally, Black can represent protection, clarity and seriousness.
Green
Green is the color for nature representing healing, harmony, balance, unconditional love, peace, restoration, and growth.
Green elicits a restful energy and it is refreshing, Green is located in the center of the spectrum representing complete balance.
Blue
Conveys intelligence, loyalty, trust, stability and communication. Blue can also represent calm, reflection, and truth.
Darker blues can symbolize clear thought while softer blues reflect calmness and serenity.
Purple
Represents nobility, royalty, wealth and luxury. Purple also elicits power, ambition and dignity. Purple is also associated with magic, mystery, wisdom and wonder.
Violet
Violet represents spiritual awareness, authenticity, truth and quality. Violet is associated with meditation, contemplation, and reflection.
Violet elicits truthfulness, authenticity and also softness and quietness.
Red
Represents strength, fire, power, warmth, excitement, energy, and danger. Red also represents love, lust, passion and desire.
Red attracts attention, a basic color, conveys strength and liveliness. Red can physically raise the pulse rate. Red demands attention.
Pink
Pink is tranquil, feminine, love and nurturing.
Pink is a tint of red. Pink additionally is considered smooth, serene, and tender.
Orange
Represents warmth, encouragement, fascination, fun, food and comfort.
Orange is a combination of red and yellow combining both the strength and fire of red and the uplifting joy of yellow. Orange is an excellent color choice for food products eliciting physical comfort, stimulating appetite and excitement.
Yellow
Yellow is an uplifting color representing happiness, joy, spring, optimism, emotional strength and creativity.
Yellow can also lift our spirits and our self-esteem. Too much yellow can have an opposite effect that can lead to anxiety and fear, leading to the “yellow streak”.
White
Represents light, innocence, and goodness. White is also associated with faith and purity.
White has successful connotations. White can also represent cleanliness, a clean slate and wholesomeness. White additionally symbolizes positivity, clarity and confidence.
